Resources to Support Voting Among People Experiencing Homelessness and Housing Instability

The Alliance, the National Coalition for the Homeless, and the National Low Income Housing Coalition encourage all CoCs and providers to support their clients’ and tenants’ rights to vote.

The following resources can help support non-partisan registration and voting efforts, to ensure that people have a say in the issues that will directly impact their lives and the resources they need.

Exploring How Coordinated Entry Systems Impact PSH Placements

The Coordinated Entry Systems Housing Optimization Initiative — a joint project of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Government Performance Lab and Enterprise Community Partners — invites people working Coordinated Entry and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) systems to participate in a survey about challenges to refer and secure long-term housing for people experiencing homelessness.

This initiative offers the chance to:

  • Apply to receive pro-bono technical assistance from the Government Performance Lab.
  • Join a learning community that will help identify the right kind of support for client; and more effectively, efficiently, and equitably connect the most vulnerable people facing homelessness to PSH.

The deadline to complete the survey is September 12.
