The official end of summer is now in sight, bringing with it bittersweet back-to-school memories. (Mine: I could never sleep the night before school began.)
With the sadness comes all the anticipation and urgency of a new school year — good timing for the many important stories we want to share with you this week.
One story is part of our continuing look at the end of affirmative action in college admissions: We’ve zeroed in on what it means to students when scholarships based on race come to an end.
We also bring you a report from the national summit held by the conservative parent group Moms for Liberty, along with their new agenda. The group has made transgender students the focus of their current messaging.
