Dear AFGE Activist,

May is a great time to check out AFGE’s two new webinars!

As more locals move towards E-Dues we’ve introduced a webinar to help guide local leaders in the transition. This webinar includes tips and tools to utilize the switch as a mobilizing opportunity. E-Dues: Building Power is offered Thursday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. and again on June 25th.

Due to the overwhelming demand for information to help members impacted by COVID-19, we’re hosting a webinar every Friday for the month of May. COVID-19: Federal Employees & Workers' Compensation is a 90-minute webinar led by AFGE Workers’ Compensation Specialist Joe Mansour. He will review how members can qualify and apply for workers’ comp if they become ill, and what locals can do to help ensure members’ safety.

We’ve also added additional May webinars for new stewards! Visit www.afge.org/webinars to view and register for upcoming webinars. Also, don’t forget about the many self-paced online learning opportunities at AFGE Learn, including training for new leaders, stewards, and financial officers.

Thanks for all you do to keep our union strong.

In Solidarity,
AFGE
