John,

We hope your holiday weekend was restful! In light of Labor Day, we invite you to check out the insightful webinar from Br. Ken Homan, S.J., on the intersection of labor and Catholic Social Teaching, produced in collaboration with our Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance.

In case you missed it, read our message kicking off the Season of Creation, which featured a story on a religion course at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati called "Faith in the Wild." We also sat down with Paul Campion, facilitator at the last three Ignatian Justice Summits, for an extended conversation on his Ignatian formation and the roots of his justice work.

During this election season, we're eager and grateful for our partnership with Ignatian Volunteer Corps, which has provided us with a service member to work on election-related materials for our Education for Justice members. Finally, hear from Jorge Palacios, Jr., regarding the Texas Attorney General's renewed attempts to shut down Annunciation House in El Paso, where Jorge marched in solidarity at a rally earlier this year.

In solidarity,

Andrew Hanson-Quintana
Assistant Director of Communications
