It's go time, Jack.

Many Americans are only just now starting to tune into the election. I know that may be hard to believe for folks who follow the news every day—and chances are, if you're receiving this email, you know who's running, where they stand on the issues, and what the polls say—but many people start tuning into election news after Labor Day. We need to make sure they know what's at stake.

Daily Kos is working to contact voters to make sure they're registered to vote, that they're voting for Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot, and that they know when, where and how to vote. (That last point is especially important considering the roadblocks Republican state legislatures have created.) We already have more than 20,000 volunteers signed up and ready to go. We need to go bigger, though. Much bigger.

Getting Out The Vote isn't cheap or easy work—it has real costs, like staff time and tech, and we're doing it at a time when revenue is down. That's why I'm asking you to please donate $5 to help offset the cost of our GOTV campaign.
