London Breed for Mayor

John,

Join us in support of Proposition O to Protect and Expand Reproductive Freedom in San Francisco

Saturday, September 7th
10:00AM
Panhandle Park @ Baker Street
RSVP HERE!

I placed Proposition O – The Reproductive Freedom Ballot Measure – on the ballot to address the very real threats to reproductive freedom and to send a clear message across the nation that San Francisco will continue to fight for reproductive rights for everyone.

Because across the country, reproductive freedom is still under attack.

After the repeal of Roe v Wade, 14 states have total abortion bans and 27 states have severe restrictions on abortion and reproductive healthcare. Donald Trump and J.D. Vance support a nationwide abortion ban and their Project 2025 includes extreme, terrifying measures attacking the body autonomy of everyone.

We cannot take anything for granted on November 5th. We will fight to ensure San Francisco remains the national leader in reproductive freedom and protects everyone seeking comprehensive reproductive healthcare.

Let’s stand together to protect reproductive freedom and healthcare this Saturday, September 7th. We’ll have a line up of inspiring speakers, campaign updates and signs for you to take and show your support for this important measure.

See you Saturday!

What Proposition O Does:

  • Establishes comprehensive reproductive freedom as San Francisco’s official policy.

  • Mandates the SF Department of Public Health to provide information on accessing reproductive health services.

  • Prohibits city funds from being used to support the prosecution of lawful reproductive health services.

  • Ensures city funds only support comprehensive reproductive health service providers.

  • Requires clear signage at centers that do not provide comprehensive care.

  • Authorizes the Department of Public Health to post signs outside limited services pregnancy centers to inform the public that those facilities do not provide reproductive services, and also indicate where to obtain these services.

  • Establishes a fund to help individuals access reproductive health care.

  • Ensures reproductive health clinics can open in non-residential areas.
