The list goes on and on, and I believe progress is within reach on all of these issues. And I want to be honest -- I’ve never been more optimistic about what’s possible than I am right now.

We’ve all seen what human beings are capable of these past few weeks, and what’s possible when we work together. We’ve proven whole countries can mobilize on a massive scale to untangle a stubborn, complex, global problem, if they have responsible leadership. And working people just doing their jobs have shown the world that there are heroes all around us, everyday, all the time.
