Ken comes from a proud military family. At 18, he enlisted in the Air Force and spent the next 24 years proudly serving his country. Once retired, Ken settled on a small farm in Rockingham County to take up organic farming — but the January 6th attacks on the Capitol changed his path.
Ken is running for office to restore integrity in government and better represent the values of his community. While in Congress, Ken will work to revitalize the economy, create job opportunities for all Americans, and invest in rural infrastructure. He’ll fight for every student to access high-quality public education, for every community to stay safe from gun violence, and for women’s reproductive freedoms to be protected.
Ken believes that if we don’t get back to pragmatic problem-solving, mutual respect, and putting our country before party, our democracy will not survive.
