Folks, do you remember how you felt the day after Donald Trump was elected?
I remember it all too well. I was terrified for our future. I worried about my kids, our climate, our democracy, and our fundamental freedoms.
But I was also ready to fight.
I decided to enter into politics a few years back because what Donald Trump and his MAGA movement represent is a clear and present danger to everything I believe this country stands for.
Since then, I’ve been a leader in the fight to preserve women’s reproductive rights, prevent gun violence, address climate change, and fight MAGA extremism.
Eight years later, our fight continues: We can defeat extremism at the ballot box this November. We can wake up the day after the election with hope for the future and resolve to get to work and solve our greatest challenges.
