It’s been a busy few months for Speaker Joanna McClinton! As summer winds down, we wanted to share what she’s been up to:
Last month was Joanna’s annual Summer Soirée! Thank you to all of the neighbors, colleagues in the State House, family, and friends who showed up for this fabulous event. What a great celebration of all that we’ve accomplished and recommitment to all the work yet to be done!
Speaker McClinton attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago! It was great to see the excitement of Democrats from all over the country. Now, we have to take the fire that we saw in Chicago and take it to every corner of the Commonwealth because we’ve only got 63 days left until Election Day.
With the election season in full swing, Joanna has been traveling across the Commonwealth, from Philadelphia to Bucks County to Pittsburgh! She’s campaigning with candidates, talking about critical issues, and helping connect with voters so that we can keep Pennsylvania blue this November.
Joanna McClinton serves as the Speaker of the Pennsylvania State House, while proudly serving the 191st district.
Joanna has made important strides to enact progress in the Pennsylvania Legislature. From working to protect the rights of those accused in our criminal justice system to spearheading the fight to expand our voting rights, she has proven that she will always prioritize the prosperity of Pennsylvanians over the promise of power.
