Show your appreciation for Maine's generous landowners

Volunteer to clean up illegally dumped trash on Landowner Appreciation Day
Sunday, September 15, 2024
The Keep Maine Clean Program started in 2013 to give outdoor users a tangible and fun way to show landowners their appreciation.
Each year, volunteers and game wardens have picked up 36,000 to more than 200,000 lbs. of trash including 1,000-2,000 tires on 100+ sites. Volunteers who pick up the most truckloads of litter win prizes.
Clean up locations are statewide, the included map shows some of the past locations.
