This is a picture of my mom and three sisters watching me speak at the DNC.
My immigrant mother raised the four of us on a secretary’s salary. I worked any job I could get to support the family. I slept on the floor, on the couch, on a roll-out mattress. I got into Harvard with no money and no connections. I fought in Iraq. And now, I’m running for the U.S. Senate in Arizona.
I believed it when I was a kid, and I believe it now: Anything is possible in the United States of America.
But there is no denying that the American Dream feels out of reach for far too many.
Kari Lake won’t fix that, and Trump won’t either. They’ll divide us further, cut taxes for their billionaire friends, and leave an economy that works for them — not working families, not the middle class.
It is up to us to keep the American Dream alive — to defend it, to strengthen it. And the best way we can do that is by defeating Trump and Kari Lake.
So, I’m asking you to make a split donation to my campaign and Tim Kaine today. Whatever you can afford. No donation is too small in a campaign as close as this one, and these add up fast when everyone is chipping in.
