This is not the headline I wanted to be sharing with you.

In 2020, many Pennsylvania Republicans tried to cast phony Electoral College votes for then-President Trump, even though Joe Biden won the state’s popular vote. Five of those fake electors will serve *again* as electors for Trump this year.

John, these people posed as fake electors in a failed attempt to steal the 2020 election for Donald Trump–and they’re not going away. These people were willing to help Donald Trump undermine our elections, our democracy, and the integrity of your vote.

We need leaders in office who will take on election lies and anyone who is willing to aid and abet insurrection, who will protect your right to vote, and who will defend our democracy.

I swore an oath to protect our democracy in uniform, and I’m fighting to defend it today in Congress. I’ll continue that fight in the face of these extremists, and I need your support to do it. Donald Trump tried to overthrow our government, and he and his far-right enablers are a clear and present danger to our Constitution and our democracy.

John, that’s a scary thought. But the thing is, I know there are a hell of a lot more of us committed to this country than those who scream the loudest about tearing it down.

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. I’ll never give an inch to extremists trying to rip up our Constitution or the cowards who give them comfort.

Your support today is how we win this race, take back the House, and defend our democracy. If you’re with me in this important fight, I’d be grateful if you could support my re-election campaign → [[link removed]]
