While there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, one thing is for sure: millions of working Americans are struggling to make ends meet.

That's why I've been working nonstop to help provide assistance to folks across the country, including the heroes on the frontlines of this crisis.

So, what exactly have I been up to in the past month?

I introduced legislation that would cover dependent care costs for the essential workers who are putting their lives on the line to fight coronavirus.

In a letter to Nancy Pelosi and Kevin McCarthy, I urged the Speaker and Minority Leader to prioritize the mental health of healthcare workers.

And just last week, I introduced the Stronger Medicaid Response to the COVID–19 Pandemic Act, which would expand Medicaid Coverage for COVID-19 testing and treatment to uninsured folks.

I first ran for Congress back in 2002, because I wanted to better the lives of everyday Americans. That's my driving force every single day.

However, to keep doing this work, I rely on grassroots support from folks just like you. I know this is a tough time for many folks, but November 2020 is around the corner and there's too much on the line to lose momentum now.

So, if you can, will you make a contribution to my re-election campaign so I can keep advocating for the working people of CA-38?

Thank you for the support,
