The Collaborative for Youth in Care (CLYC) is looking for young adults currently in extended care or formerly in out-of-home care, as well as adults who have worked with youth in care for interviews about their experiences learning about healthy relationships and sexual health. There will be one interview opportunity per person with a one-hour time commitment. Each month, the Texas Campaign interviews young adults with lived experience with regards to teen pregnancy or sex education in Texas to learn about their experience and to help us incorporate youth voice into everything we do. The impact of their first-hand experience helps inform our future work across the state. 

This month, we interviewed Gayatri Rajamony, who shared her experience with sex education in Central Texas and what she wishes they had told her about sexuality and consent. 

We are delighted to welcome Mitch Rosen back to the Texas Campaign Board of Directors! Mitch is a Regional Business Manager for Evofem Biosciences, a company with a mission of empowering women. The majority of Mitch’s 20-year career has been spent in women’s health, with a specific focus on contraception. He is passionate about the power that comes from education, access, and choice and has worked to break down many common barriers that exist for women throughout the state of Texas.
