In honor of Labor Day, I’ve got some good news for us to celebrate.
Check out this stat: Two years ago, nearly a THIRD of US workers earned less than $15 an hour. Today, that number has dropped to just 13%.
This is huge. Millions of people are better off today than a couple years ago.
John, this didn’t happen because someone handed it to us. It happened because we came together, took action, and demanded better. And it’s working.

Make no mistake, we have a long way to go. $15 an hour is no longer enough for anyone to get by. With greedy corporations driving up costs, too many of us still live in poverty and struggle with the rising costs of groceries, rent, gas, childcare, and more.
No matter who we are or where we work, we know that unions help us win a living wage, good benefits, safe workplaces, and a voice on the job. They level the playing field and give us power in the workplace.
