Campaign for Investment in Youth in Budget 2025
4,891 of you have signed 156 postcards that we are now delivering to TDs in every constituency across Ireland, calling for a much-needed €15 million investment in youth work in Budget 2025. But we’re not done yet! If you haven’t already, we’re asking you to take one more step for young people…

Survey on Working with young people in the International Protection System
The advocacy voice for young asylum seekers isn’t as strong as it should be, and for this reason we are pushing for more resources and focus on youth in IPAS accommodation. We are undertaking a survey about young people in International Protection access to youth work, resources made available, and particularly whether some groups of young people in international protection are under-represented. Deadline: 25th September 2024

Have your voice heard at the United Nations!
Ireland's 2024-2025 UN Youth Delegates will travel to New York in September to attend the UN General Assembly and the Summit of the Future. From now until September 14th, they're looking for your opinions on everything from peace and security to AI, from representation to the Sustainable Development Goals. Please take 15 minutes to complete this survey, to ensure that your voice is heard by Irish and international decision-makers. Deadline: 14th September 2024

Youth Work Ireland: National Consensus Conference 2024
The Youth Work for All Consensus Conference, taking place 4th November, will explore this aspiration including policy intersections, the rights basis for it and the role of voluntary sector organisations in the youth work ecosystem, the needs of volunteers and young people and all other considerations which will help us to realise this important goal.

VSI: Youth for Climate Justice Project
Join VSI this September for our Youth for Climate Justice Project 2024. We will bring together a small group of young people to learn about climate justice and how it can be achieved. It will be a mix of online and in-person workshops, starting on 21st September in-person in Dublin, and running online for 5 evenings from 23rd – 25th September and 30th September - 1st October, with a final in-person day on Saturday 5th October. Participants must be aged 18-25 and living in Ireland.

Gaisce: Youth Ambassador Panel
Gaisce - The President's Award is seeking young people aged 18+ from all over Ireland to join a new Youth Ambassador Panel. The panel will bring together young people who are currently undertaking or have recently achieved their Gaisce Award and are passionate about advocating for Gaisce, accessing exclusive training and learning opportunities, and networking with fellow Award Participants. Deadline: 13th September 2024

European Youth Parliament: Connaught Ulster session
Connacht-Ulster Session of the European Youth Parliament invites TY - 6th year students across Connaght and Ulster to participate in an exciting simulation of the European Parliament in Galway, 9th-10th November. The session is a fantastic opportunity to debate, brainstorm solutions to pressing European issues, and collaborate with delegates from all over Europe!
