Great news! We just added more incredible presenters to The National Iftar. In addition to a robust panel discussion with our co-hosts — Congressman André Carson, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison — the Iftar will feature:

• Imam Khalid Latif: the world-renowned religious leader from the Islamic Center at New York University will offer a reflection on Ramadan during this unique time.
   
• Imam W. Deen Shareef: the convener of the Council of Imams in New Jersey who helped dismantle the NYPD anti-Muslim spying program will offer the adhan/call to prayer.
   
• Aisha Fukushima: the internationally traveling “Raptivist” artist will share an uplifting performance.

More participants will be announced soon! We’re so excited to celebrate Ramadan with you virtually from the safety of your home.
