I hate to be the bearer of bad news, John: summer is coming to an end. But we can’t let those back to school blues bring us down! Our kids might be dragging their feet back to class, but we can’t spend too much time moping around like them! 

Wrapping up summer vacations means that Election Day is only right around the corner – and just like our students, we have a lot of work to do.

Even in this heat, I’ve been out knocking doors and talking with voters because this election, and our majority, is too important to let a single day go to waste. It will take all of us working together and lending a hand to make this happen – that’s why I was up in Scranton knocking doors for my colleague Jim Haddock earlier this week. 

And it’s why I’m asking you to chip in today! Any amount you can give goes a long way in helping me support our Democratic majority, from our incumbents running for re-election to our candidates working hard to flip even more seats blue.

This election is just too important to let any back to school blues slow us down – but don’t worry! It’s not just all hard work from here on out.
