Dear Friend,

I'm excited to announce that today is
the first day of our new $200,000 Fall Match Challenge.

The Kahlert Foundation, a Maryland-based family foundation, has
pledged to match every donation we receive by October 31 - up to
a total of $200,000 - to support Alzheimer's disease research
and programs and outreach initiatives at its local chapter, if we can
raise the same amount by the deadline. This incredible match couldn't
have come at a better time, but it won't last for long. We're counting
on you to make it a success.

As someone who cares about ending this disease, I wanted to
personally invite you to take part in this special opportunity,
because I know we can count on you to help us reach our goal.

Your first gift today is urgently
needed. There are nearly 7 million Americans currently living with
Alzheimer's, with that number rising each day. But our supporters have
brought us to a historic time in the fight to end this devastating
disease.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration
has approved treatments that could meaningfully change the course of
the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's. While these
treatments are a tremendous step forward, they aren't cures, and they
aren't the answer for everyone. There is more promising research in
the pipeline, and we need your support during this special match to
help advance it and provide care and support for all those impacted by
Alzheimer's.
