Israel Recovers Six Dead Hostages From Gaza, Including an American

Wall Street Journal: The Israeli military retrieved six more dead bodies of hostages from Gaza on Saturday, including American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, whose family had waged an almost 11-month campaign for a cease-fire deal that would bring him and dozens of other hostages home. Israel said on Sunday that the bodies of two women and four men were recovered in an operation in southern Gaza… Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said the six bodies were discovered in a Rafah tunnel less than a mile from where Israeli troops found Qaid Farhan Al-Qadi, an Israeli hostage rescued alive by Israeli troops inside a tunnel Tuesday (Wall Street Journal). Ed Morrissey: What will the US do now that Hamas has murdered one of the Americans they held in such a cowardly manner? Joe Biden expressed outrage this morning … and then demanded that Israel cut a deal with his murderers (HotAir). Townhall: The six hostages, whose bodies were found Saturday in a tunnel underneath Gaza discovered in Rafah, were in the same exact location Vice President Kamala Harris warned Israel of grave consequences if it entered. In March, Harris warned Israel of possible U.S. consequences, hinting that it would withhold weapons if it ignored the Biden Administration’s “red line” and invaded Rafah (Townhall).

CNN Runs Cover for Terrorists When Writing About Dead American Hostage

Townhall: CNN is working hard to avoid creating trouble for the Democratic Party over Israel’s justified war in Gaza. Hordes of Arab Americans are furious with the Biden-Harris policy in the region; they’ve given the vice president the moniker ‘Killer Kamala.’ In a race that will be decided by razor-thin margins, these folks staying home could create issues for the Harris campaign in Michigan and Minnesota. Hence, why we have weak sauce and inaccurate headlines like this regarding the gruesome discovery made by Israeli forces over the weekend: the bodies of six hostages were found, including American Hersh Goldberg-Polin. Yet, the network framed his death as if he died in a car accident: “Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin has died, his family says in a statement” (Townhall). Stephen L. Miller: It’s real. President Biden Still Away on Vacation

CNN: After spending much of the summer under the harshest microscope of his career, President Joe Biden spent most of the last two weeks out of sight as he prepared for the final act of his political life and a very different end to 2024 than he would have imagined a few months ago. Following a whirlwind six weeks after ending his future in presidential politics, Biden has spent the time since delivering last week’s opening-night address at the Democratic National Convention resetting in California and Delaware before he’s expected to start hitting the campaign trail in earnest to support Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign. The president has spent this week soaking up the sun on the beach near his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, joined by first lady Jill Biden and two of her sisters (CNN). Brazil Cuts Access to X Platform

Associated Press: The blocking of social media platform X in Brazil divided users and politicians over the legitimacy of the ban, and many Brazilians on Sunday had difficulty and doubts over navigating other social media in its absence. The shutdown of Elon Musk’s platform started early Saturday, making it largely inaccessible on both the web and through mobile apps after the billionaire refused to name a legal representative to the country, missing a deadline imposed by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The blockade marks an escalation in a monthslong feud between Musk and de Moraes over free speech, far-right accounts and misinformation. Brazil has been one of the biggest markets for X, with tens of millions of users (Associated Press). New York Times: In his order, Justice Moraes said Mr. Musk was an “outlaw” who intended to “allow the massive spread of disinformation, hate speech and attacks on the democratic rule of law, violating the free choice of the electorate, by keeping voters away from real and accurate information” (New York Times). Michael Shellenberger: You may not care about the censorship and banning of X in Brazil. You don’t have to. That’s because what’s happening there isn’t really about Brazil. It’s about the country being used as a laboratory to roll out totalitarianism worldwide. We ignore it at our peril (X).

Tim Walz’s Brother Statements on Tim: "not the type of character you want making decisions about your future”

New York Post: Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz is not the “type of character” who should make decisions about America’s future, his older brother warned in a series of damning Facebook comments this week. “I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology,” Jeff Walz declared Friday evening about the far-left Minnesota governor and running mate of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. And he has so little faith in his kid brother, Jeff Walz is now considering publicly endorsing former President Trump’s White House run, he told a Facebook poster who urged him to “Get on stage with President Trump and endorse him” (New York Post). Collin Rugg: Tim Walz’s brother says he is considering joining forces with Trump, says his brother is “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future…” All the comments stemmed from a March 30, 2023 post after Trump was convicted where Jeff Walz said: “We’ve just become a third world banana republic” (X).

NBC Reports Lie to Cover for Kamala Harris

Post Millennial: NBC News’ Kristen Welker falsely claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris met with Gold Star families who lost their servicemen and women during the Abbey Gate suicide bombing when the bodies of those US Armed Forces members returned home for the dignified transfer of their remains. There’s only one problem: Harris was not in fact at the dignified transfer. Welker made the claim in defense of the Democrat presidential candidate during a Meet the Press interview with Senator Tom Cotton on Sunday as Cotton blasted Harris for not meeting with them and not attending a memorial on the 3rd anniversary of their deaths last Monday. GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump was at the memorial and was criticized for that by the Harris campaign (Post Millennial). Libs of TikTok: NBC is now walking back Kristen Welker’s statement that Kamala attended the dignified transfer of the 13 soldiers who were kiIIed at Abbey Gate. They say they “implied” Kamala was there. Kristen didn’t “imply” it. She outright said it. She straight up lied to cover for Kamala. NBC can’t even get a correction right (X).

Nancy Pelosi Admits She Wishes to Make All Undocumented Immigrants Legal

Daily Wire: Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) advocated turning millions of illegal aliens into U.S. citizens this week and making them eligible for taxpayer-funded assistance for buying homes. Pelosi made the remarks during a Friday interview on HBO’s “Real Time” with Bill Maher when asked about a highly controversial bill in California that would make illegal aliens eligible for $150,000 for purchasing homes — even as the state leads the country with the largest number of homeless U.S. citizens (Daily Wire). Eric Abbenante: Nancy Pelosi states that the goal of the Democrat party is to convert undocumented immigrants (illegals) into documented immigrants: Pelosi: “It’s not free houses, it’s the American dream being available to more people.” Maher: “This is for the undocumented.” Pelosi: “I would like to move them to documented.” The open border policies of the Biden Harris administration were not a bug, but a feature of their system to convert illegals into votes (X).

Independent Far-Left Presidential Candidate Cornel West States Kamala Harris Bribed Him to Drop Out of Race

Townhall: Independent far-left presidential candidate Cornel West revealed a shocking admission about how far the Democratic Party will go to win the 2024 election. During an interview on the Status Coup News podcast, West claimed that the Harris campaign offered him a deal that resulted in him dropping out of the race. He said they bribed him by offering him a cushy job in Harris’ administration should she be elected and a promise to pay off his campaign debts. West has been met with opposition to his candidacy by the Democratic Party as polls show that in swing states where his name appears on the ballot, he takes votes away from Harris, making it an advantage for former President Donald Trump (Townhall). George: Cornel West CONFIRMED that Kamala Harris and the DNC tried to bribe him with money and a job in the administration if he dropped out and endorsed Kamala. Podcaster Joe Rogan Calls Out Hypocrisy of Democrat Elites

Townhall: Podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan tore into Democrat and Hollywood elites for their blatant hypocrisy in their Democratic National Convention (DNC) speeches. Multi-millionaire Oprah Winfrey and former First Lady Michelle Obama cried about being oppressed and targeted for their race despite owning a house in Martha’s Vineyard and having huge net worths. Oprah claimed she had been a victim of “racism and sexism and income inequality and division,” failing to mention anything about her $70 million G650 private jet… However, jokes on Oprah because moments after her DNC speech, the Trump campaign posted a letter from the television personality who wrote that she wished Trump were running for office (Townhall). San Francisco 49ers Rookie First-Round Pick Shot by Mugger Trying to Steal His Watch

Townhall: The good news is that he’s okay. The incident also sheds light again on how San Francisco has become a crime-ridden hellhole. The victim is San Francisco rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who the franchise selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. The former Florida Gator recently signed a four-year $12.5 million contract that’s fully guaranteed. Pearsall was shot in the chest during an armed robbery on Saturday. His assailant, who was trying to steal his Rolex watch, was arrested soon afterward (Townhall). Adam Schefter: 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is in serious but stable condition. A statement from the team (X). Remember last December when the San Francisco Giants lost out on signing a massive free agent because of San Francisco crime? New York Post: San Francisco Giants great Buster Posey provided a sober revelation after the organization lost out on Shohei Ohtani to the rival Dodgers… He spoke to The Athletic this week and stated directly that crime and drugs in San Francisco — or at least the perception that both are pervasive — are affecting the team in pursuit of blue-chip free agents in general and even Ohtani specifically (New York Post). National Review: The Giants have missed out on several top free agents in recent years, including Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper. They haven’t signed an impact free-agent position player since Barry Bonds in 1993… This isn’t the first time Giants officials have expressed concerns about the city’s reputation affecting their ability to sign top players. Last year, Farhan Zaidi, president of Giants baseball operations, said that San Francisco had become a “polarizing place” for some players (National Review).
