Citing their refusal to recuse themselves from cases in which they have a conflict of interest and for accepting illegal gifts from donors, Ocasio-Cortez said "they must be removed!"

Here's why they need to be impeached:
Ethical Controversies: Justices Alito and Thomas have accepted massive gifts from swanky vacations to million-dollar RVs and more from GOP mega-donors. They then lied about their relationships with the donors and hid the gifts from disclosures.
Undermining Impartiality: The role of a Supreme Court Justice demands impartiality, but Justices Alito and Thomas have routinely ruled on cases in which a clear conflict of interest exists. Most notably, Justice Thomas has refused to recuse himself from cases involving the January 6th insurrection even though his wife is a public supporter of the "Stop the Steal" conspiracy.
Eroding Public Trust: Allowing unethical conduct to go unchecked sets a dangerous precedent, weakening the checks and balances essential to our government. We cannot stand by and let the integrity of our highest court be tarnished.
The integrity of the Supreme Court must not be questioned. But when Justices accept illegal gifts, lie about fancy vacations with mega-donors with stakes in current Supreme Court decisions, and refuse to recuse themselves when they are not impartial, it risks damaging the reputation of our highest court for good.
