James,

On Labor Day – and every day – I am reminded of the many contributions workers and labor unions in Wisconsin have made to our state. From time away from work, to worker’s compensation, to safety standards on the job that protect workers, we’ve made huge strides.

But we still have a ways to go to ensure that working families can get ahead. Everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a living wage, to have food and housing they can afford, and the freedom to make their own personal medical decisions. Full stop.

No one should struggle to pay their bills while working full time. But for too many Wisconsin families, that’s still the reality, because the wealthiest few are willing to drive up prices to line their own pockets – including people like my opponent, who lobbied to raise gas prices, hurting working families and pocketing more for himself and his rich friends.

I’m running to change that – but I need your help. Will you chip in to my campaign right now and help me fight for Wisconsin families? [link removed]

Thank you,

Kristin Lyerly
