DANCE IN SOLIDARITY AND HOPE ON MAY DAY!



The Communist Party USA, The Worker's Education Society and People's World invite you to join us virtually on Friday, May 1st, 2020 for a May Day online celebration and interactive dance party.

Featuring:

A few welcoming remarks, then 90 minutes live DJ (David Itzi Nala) and interactive dancing along with commemorative slide show.



Given the global health emergency it's never been more important to honor working families, especially on May Day, an international day for working class solidarity in struggle.

We will extend our thanks and appreciation, love affection and protection to all communities across the nation in industries that employ farm workers; transit workers; postal and packaged delivery workers; fast food and big box retails workers; service employees; nursing home workers; teachers; parents and of course first responders and medical health care professionals, and so many more, all out on the front lines these days doing their jobs to keep life moving while saving and protecting human lives.

We will also recognize the many marginalized communities of color, women, youth and immigrants, to name only a few, struggling to make ends meet.

We need to do more and prepare to fight for change on the streets, downtown, and at the ballot box.

Above all this event will be uplifting, hopeful, energetic, positive, fun and family friendly. Please join us!
