Happy Labor Day, john!

Today, and really every day, is a great reminder that when workers join together, they are often better able to secure livable wages, a safe work environment, and quality benefits for families.

Across the country, we’re seeing workers and organized labor mobilize and join in solidarity to strike for better wages, benefits, and working conditions.

Workers are taking a firm stance: they will not settle for lower wages and unfair working conditions.

And we’re fortunate enough to have the most pro-labor President, Joe Biden, in office right now — and a pro-labor ticket in Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

I will continue to do everything in my power to support the labor movement. From supporting the PRO Act in the Senate to calling on company leaders to level the playing field for their employees, I’m keeping up the fight to support our workers.

john, labor built this country. Today, we celebrate what the right to organize has achieved for working people: the dignity of a fair wage and benefits and the respect of a safe workplace.

If you enjoy your weekends, paid leave, fair wages, and so many other benefits, thank a union member today. It’s their hard work, and the fights from workers before us, that made this all possible.

In solidarity,

Tina
