Primary Elections

After one year and nine months as the State Representative of the 15th Suffolk, Jamaica Plain, Back of the Hill, and Egleston, I am back on the ballot this Tuesday September 3rd, asking you for another 2 year term. Though I have only represented our community for a short amount of time, I feel confident saying the heart, warmth and commitment to justice that fills our district is truly inspiring and what energizes me to fight for the policies that you all want to see enacted. There are fights we had that we could not get across the finish line legislatively, like rent control and the Thrive Act, and ones like Maternal Health that we can celebrate exuberantly.

I look forward to being entrusted with another term and more opportunities to support and uplift our community. Thank you all for your civic participation and I hope to see many of you Tuesday for the Primary.

An Endorsement

As you may know, Election Day is, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd. I've endorsed Allison Cartwright to be the next Clerk of the Supreme Judicial Court for Suffolk County, and I hope you'll consider voting for her. This relatively unknown position is critical to the functioning of our state’s highest court and the administration of justice. That’s why I urge you to join me in voting for Allison Cartwright, a lifelong public defender and the only attorney in the race. In addition to having my support, Allison has also earned the endorsement of The Boston Globe, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Mayor Michelle Wu, Attorney General Campbell, and many others. You can learn more about her at www.cartwrightforclerk.org. Find out where and how to vote by checking out cartwrightforclerk.org/howtovote!

The Cartwright Campaign will watch election results roll in at the Haven Restaurant located at 284 Amory St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Come after the polls close at 8PM
