### **Dangerous Venezuelan Gang Spreads Terror Across US-Mexico Border**
A notorious Venezuelan gang known for its brutal tactics has set off alarms along the US-Mexico border, prompting warnings from law enforcement agencies on both sides of the divide. The Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang, already blacklisted by the US Treasury Department, has been spotted making its way through the Mexican state of Chihuahua en route to crossing into the United States via El Paso, Texas.
According to Chihuahua Secretary of Public Safety Gilberto Loya, local authorities have identified a significant presence of TdA members in the region, raising concerns about potential violence and illegal activities such as human trafficking, extortion, and drug smuggling. This development follows a warning issued by the US government just weeks ago cautioning against the gang's deadly exploits throughout the Americas.
Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) likened TdA to MS-13 "on steroids", describing the gangsters as "extremely aggressive...battle-hardened [and] very brazen." Their ruthless reputation was underscored by a chilling incident caught on camera where heavily armed thugs stormed an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, allegedly under TdA control. Residents living nearby reported witnessing open-air drug deals and even suspected instances of sexual exploitation within the besieged community.
One anonymous witness recounted the eerie atmosphere surrounding the troubled apartment block, saying: "This is organized. They patrol the property with guns visibly, like they’re not trying to hide them. There’s no repercussions. These are ghosts.”
Meanwhile, Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky expressed her gravest fears regarding the situation, stating unequivocally that “there is sex trafficking now going on” involving TdA operatives.
