Well… are we?? Let’s take a look at some of the latest news out of VA: - In late August, Donald Trump joined GOP Senate candidate Hung Cao on the campaign trail in Northern Virginia.
- Earlier in the month, Glenn Youngkin and Hung Cao hosted a campaign event together.

In July, not only did JD Vance make one of his very first solo campaign appearances in Radford, Virginia, but Trump himself held a rally in Chesapeake, VA the day after the Republican National Convention wrapped up.
Youngkin, Trump, Vance, and Cao are all in on flipping Virginia red — and they’re putting real money and manpower behind their efforts.
But we know something they seem to be forgetting — Virginia is KAINE COUNTRY! |
Virginians know that Tim Kaine has had their back for years — from his time on the Richmond City Council, to Lieutenant Governor and Governor, and now in the Senate — and they aren’t going to send a MAGA extremist to the Capitol in his place.
But the fact is that Democrats are still underdogs in the 2024 elections, and Trump’s GOP has massive resources to spend advancing himself, his hand-picked candidates like Hung Cao, and his extreme Project 2025 agenda.
So if we want to keep VA blue and make sure it stays Kaine Country, we’ve got to step up our game.
