Happy Labor Day!

Today, we’re reflecting on the importance of fair pay, safety in the workplace, and all of the hard work that unions have put into making sure these rights exist.

I carry the values my grandfather instilled in me while he was a union member working in the Northwest Indiana steel industry. To all of my incredible brothers and sisters in organized labor, thank you for building our region and continuing to be the foundation of our economic success. I am proud to stand with you and fight for you today and always.
