Happy Labor Day!

Today, the labor movement is stronger than it has been in decades. Workers are uniting to demand the protections and wages they truly deserve. From LA to New York, from Amazon warehouses to UPS delivery trucks, workers are standing up and standing together against corporate billionaires across every industry. SAG-AFTRA and the Writers Guild of America raised the bar for actors and writers everywhere and are putting the labor movement center stage.

I couldn't be more proud of the workers in Arizona and across the country who are standing up for what’s right. Before my time as Party Chair, I served as the field director for the Communications Workers of America, representing over 700,000 communications and media employees from diverse backgrounds and industries.

The key to making lasting, impactful change in both Democratic politics and our labor movement is how we organize. By mobilizing every group and community, we not only bring diverse voices and experiences to the table but also build enduring power for workers. This will ensure we can turn out strong in every election to elect champions for working people.
