PAC
PAC is delighted to announce that the CSA Group Standards Development Council, at their meeting on March 4, 2020, endorsed Pierre Poirier, Executive Director of The Paramedic Association of Canada, as a recipient of a 2020 Award of Merit. Pierre was nominated by his CSA Group colleagues and selected by the Awards Committee.
The CSA Group Award of Merit recognizes individuals who, through their leadership, have fostered the development and advancement of standards, both nationally and internationally.
Celebrating their volunteer membership each year is extremely important to the CSA. Later this spring they will be featuring a series of online profiles to recognize the achievements of each of their 2020 award recipients. In addition, Pierre and a guest have been invited to attend the CSA 2021 Annual Conference & Committee Week in Vancouver, since 2020 has been cancelled due to the pandemic.
We at PAC are extremely proud of the work Pierre does on behalf of the paramedic profession. We consider ourselves fortunate to have him in our leadership team.
Congratulations Pierre on an award well deserved.
