Happy Labor Day, John!
I know many of us will spend today outside with friends and family, enjoying the last days of summer. As we celebrate, let's take a moment to think about the reason we have this day: the labor movement.
From workplace safety regulations and the minimum wage, to collective bargaining and the weekend, we owe a lot of the rights and privileges we enjoy to the advocacy of workers throughout history.
At a time where workers' rights and labor protections are under attack from MAGA extremists, it is crucial that we stand with our hardworking neighbors, friends, family, and other community members.
Today and every day, let's renew our commitment to Standing Tall for All the workers here in Iowa.
