For over a century, unions have built the middle class, helping workers win better wages, better working conditions, and a seat at the table. For millions of workers, they kept the American Dream alive.
But the fight is far from over. Corporations continue to punish workers who unionize, while the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), America’s leading labor law enforcement agency, lacks the funding to combat unlimited money and union-busting lawyers.
If we want an economy that works for working people, we need to stand with workers who choose to form unions, ensure that corporations allow free and fair union elections, and stop big corporations from retaliating against union workers.
