On Labor Day and every day, Democrats lift up America’s union workers as the heart of our economy and the foundation of opportunity, strength and greatness in our country.

It’s better in a union. Democrats know and more and more Americans are learning every day that a strong middle class is the backbone of our Democracy and that our middle class has a union label on it.

As unions continue to build power for workers at the picket line and at the bargaining table, Republicans are preparing to implement an anti-worker and anti-Democracy manifesto – Project 2025.

Project 2025 would gut workers’ rights, ban public employee unions, abolish civil service protections, and allow states to ban labor unions, end overtime pay requirements and ignore child labor laws and the federal minimum wage.

The late former President of the United Auto Workers, Walter Reuther, saw this threat clearly decades ago and warned that: “There's a direct relationship between the ballot box and the bread box, and what the union fights for and wins at the bargaining table can be taken away in the legislative halls.”

With the help of our Labor partners reaching out to voters and owning the ground from now until November 5th, Democrats will take back the House electing Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, win a working majority in the Senate and elect Kamala Harris as President and Tim Walz as Vice President of the United States.

We know the stakes are high and the campaign will be difficult — but we don’t agonize, we organize and WE UNIONIZE!
