Happy Labor Day, John.
I hope you can take a moment today to reflect on the progress our country has made thanks to the fearless leaders in the labor movement.
From creating the five-day work week to establishing a minimum wage, we are all better off because of the men and women who stood up for what’s right throughout our state and country’s history.
And we’re continuing that fight, together.
Working families are the backbone of our state, and I’m committed to working with community leaders to build a safer, stronger North Carolina — one that invests in our workforce, pays people a living wage, and allows folks to retire with dignity.
So please, take a moment to thank a worker today — and, if you’re able, please pitch in to our campaign to support North Carolina’s workers and defend our governorship.
