John,
This Labor Day, we are celebrating the powerful momentum working people are feeling as we organize to build a better future for ourselves and our families.
This has been a monumental year for America’s labor unions, with the signing of historic, industry-defining contracts. We’re voting to join unions at the highest level in 15 years. Union approval is on the rise, regardless of political party.
People all over the country are realizing unions are the single best tool we have to stand up to inequity and corporate greed. Every day, more workers are seeing past the lies and the well-funded anti-union campaigns from corporate America and deciding to come together.
Workers know: It’s better in a union.
And that’s why workers cannot let up when the wind is at our backs.
This fall will mark the most consequential election of our lifetime. At a time when Donald Trump, JD Vance and their radical Project 2025 Agenda want to take the country backward, the labor movement is standing with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to protect our freedoms and move forward on strengthening union organizing, civil rights, voting rights and racial justice.
Our jobs, our unions and our contracts are on the line. And this Labor Day, we’re making it clear: We’re not going back.
What will you do to make a difference? Let’s keep our momentum up and come together to elect leaders who have workers’ backs. Here’s how you can help:
It’s time to do what unions do best: organize and mobilize. Our story is the story of America’s workers. We will not let it be written by billionaires—on Labor Day or any day.
Thank you for standing with us, and happy Labor Day!
In Solidarity,
