Friend, there are few things I love more than honoring and celebrating the working men and women who keep our country running.

It's what I've tried to do since the day I was elected to Congress, because I believe Ohioans deserve a Congresswoman who works just as hard as you do.

Friend, I'll always fight for working people over corporate profits.

After all, I grew up in a union family. My dad worked at Toledo Jeep, and my mom helped organize the first labor union at Champion Spark Plug.

That's why I'm especially honored to be serving as the Grand Marshal of the Toledo Labor Day Parade this year.

It means so much to be recognized by the Toledo Federation of Teachers, the Teamsters, UAW, Northwest Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council, Toledo Port Council, and all of the other local unions putting on this parade.

I'm so proud to have their support, and I'm proud to go to work every day for working people.
