John, I hope you’re having a safe and restful Labor Day!
Today, I’m reflecting on the labor movement, the generations of hardworking Americans who have contributed so much to our country, and the millions of working families in Georgia and across our nation.
While our country has made great strides for workers, there’s a lot that remains to be done. I remain steadfast in my commitment to fight for paid family and medical leave and child care, to protect Medicare and Medicaid, and to raise the minimum wage.
America’s workers deserve better, and I promise to always be a champion for working people. If we stand united in this fight, there’s no limit to what we can achieve for our nation’s workers.
