Happy Labor Day, friend!

As we enjoy the final days of summer, it’s important to recognize the overwhelming contributions of unions and workers to our country.

Thanks to unions, we have weekends, the 40-hour work week, a minimum wage, and so much more! And our workforce is the backbone of our country. They keep our roads paved, our mail delivered, our grocery stores stocked, and so much more.

That is why Democratic AGs are committed to protecting workers and fighting alongside our union partners for safe work environments, fair pay, affordable health care, and so much more.

But it’s important not only to recognize the progress we have made, but to reflect on what it is we are still fighting for. Workers and unions have been under attack in recent years by extremist right-wing megadonors and their Republican allies in government. We must continue to fight back against these efforts and recommit ourselves to the work to create a more fair and just nation. Luckily Dem AGs are on the front lines of that push, advocating for the people who make this country work, and they won’t stop fighting.
