Johh, Happy Labor Day!
Today is about honoring the workers who built this country and the labor leaders who’ve fought tirelessly for safer working conditions, the 40-hour work week, the minimum wage, child labor laws, and more.
But the fight for workers' rights isn’t over. The GOP puts on the facade that they're pro-workers, but let’s be honest — they're in it for the wealthy 1%. If Trump is elected and Project 2025 takes off, we can kiss everything union leaders have fought for goodbye. From stripping LGBTQ+ workers of their rights and gutting collective bargaining to slashing unemployment and child labor laws — the Project 2025 agenda is overwhelmingly anti-worker. It’s completely unacceptable.
I refuse to let decades of progress be wiped away by Donald Trump and the GOP. That’s why I’m fighting to elect Democrats who will stand up for the backbone of our country: our hard-working Americans.
