Derrick grew up dirt poor in rural Wisconsin. At one point, he was even on
food stamps! His mom raised him and his brother all by herself and taught them
the value of self-reliance and responsibility.
When he turned 18, Derrick joined the Navy. He quickly became a Navy SEAL and
spent 26 years defending our nation from terrorists, extremists, and
anti-American forces around the world.
Unlike Stolen Valor Democrats and liberals, Derrick is a 100% bonafide
American badass. Here’s a small sample of his track record:
* Derrick served five combat deployments in the US Navy.
* He went toe-to-toe with violent radicals during the War in Afghanistan and
in Iraq.
* He specialized in hostage rescue during his time in the Navy.
* When he saw the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, Derrick got on a
plane to help get Americans out (unfortunately, the situation was so bad that
the Taliban took over completely before Derrick could get there).
* After Hamas’ despicable attack on October 7, Derrick went to Israel TWICE
to support our allies. Seriously, this guy has done it all! Derrick is the kind
of guy who would run into a burning building. HeNEVER runs from a fight and
always stands up for what’s right and puts Americans’ safety and prosperity
