Williams Weekly
It's been another busy week in the district fighting to uphold the values that matter most to you. Read below for more on my work serving Texans.
Pecan Plantation Breakfast
I spoke with constituents in Hood County to provide an update on my work fighting to restore a strong economy. Under Biden-Harris, parents cannot afford to put food on the table and gas in the car, and overregulation is hurting small businesses. As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, I am fighting to cut regulations and red tape, reckless government spending, and lower taxes.
We also discussed my work in Congress to secure our nation. Under Border Czar Harris, there have been over 10 million illegal crossings nationwide. Even one illegal crossing is too many. I introduced the Make the Migrant Protection Protocols Mandatory Act to reinstate President Trump’s successful “Remain in Mexico” policy and put American communities first.
Met With Leaders of Dallas College
I met with leaders of Dallas College to tour the Coppell Center and learn about their CTE programs and crucial partnerships with high schools. We discussed my bill to connect trade school graduates with small businesses and the importance of growing the trade industry.
Visited the Arlington Chamber
I visited the Arlington Chamber for a fireside chat to answer questions on hot topics, hear about the top issues facing Texans, and discuss my work in D.C. serving our district and fighting to uphold the values that matter most to you.
In Case You Missed It!
Kamala's failed economic policies have wrecked Main Street, killing the American Dream and making the basic costs of living unaffordable. Now she is doubling down on another four years of Bidenomics turned Kamalanomics. I joined WBAP and Mornings With Maria to discuss.
In God we trust,
Roger Williams
Member of Congress
