There’s no use sugarcoating it, so I’m just going to come
out with it:

We came up short of our August fundraising goal.

That’s two straight months where we narrowly missed our fundraising goals,
and while that’s definitely not ideal, I’m not ready to hit the panic
button just yet.

September is an official FEC deadline month, which means we’ve got a
chance to get back on track to win this race.

Larry Hogan (R) is outraising us at every turn, and his extremist MAGA
allies are flooding Maryland airwaves attacking me, so this is our moment
to turn the tables and prove that a people-powered movement has what it
takes to win this race and defend the Senate majority.

But this is going to be the biggest and most important month of the
campaign to date, and I need your help now more than ever.
