I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who donated to our campaign ahead of our fundraising deadline. With your support, we exceeded our goal for the month of August and have momentum heading into our final FEC deadline before the election.

I also want to wish a Happy Labor Day to every one of you supporting yourselves and your families, every single day.

Labor Day is always a very special holiday for our district, where hard work is a way of life, and so is taking care of each other on deserved days off like this so we can continue to support our loved ones

That’s just one reason why I’m proud to have the support of the Illinois AFL-CIO, standing for over 1,500 affiliated unions representing nearly 900,000 workers in our state.
