“Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:8-10
Friend,
In this day and age it is so easy to get caught up in the hurry. What I mean by that is we live in a world of urgency and rush - it is a culture that has been created and values productivity and efficiency.
While those are certainly great things to achieve, unfortunately they also come with things like greed, envy, comparison, and burn out.
Our culture tends to focus so much on the now, but as believers we see past that. Our focus is on eternity - or it should be.
Whatever our work is, the primary goal should not be to make the most money or have the greatest job title. The goal is to make an eternal impact and do work that advances the Kingdom and pleases God, not man. And even when the results of that work seem far away or not at all, remember that God has His hand on all of it and He sees your obedience. He rejoices in it!
Do not give up. Do not grow weary of fighting the good fight. It is worth it - He is worth it.
