Normally, pundits would tell you that campaign season doesn’t pick up until after Labor Day, but that’s not true here in CT-05. This is a rematch of the 8th closest race of 2022 — a 0.79% margin. Republicans think they can win this time.

As you read this, Jahana is getting outspent by her Republican opponent on the airwaves, and that’s before the super PAC spending starts.

Republican Super PACs plan to spend $2.4 million on just television — and there’s no telling how much they’ll add on digital and streaming.

So it’s our job to make sure Jahana doesn’t get drowned out by corporate and special interest money. Democrats have almost no path to the House majority without her winning.
