Happy Labor Day Weekend, John!
I just returned from the Democratic National Convention, where close to 800 elected Union-affiliated delegates stood united behind Kamala Harris and Tim Walz! Oregon's delegation was proud to make our pro-union voices heard and affirm our support for our Democratic ticket. Together, we will elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and advance our priorities:
- Living wage jobs that offer family health care
- Secure retirement for all
- Affordable child care
- Increase resources for raining programs and community colleges that strengthen and expand the middle class
Over 16 million jobs have been created because of the Biden-Harris administration, and we know this progress for working Americans will continue under Harris-Walz!
We hope you enjoy a relaxing weekend. And then, we hope you'll join us as we ramp up our Get Out The Vote efforts! Working peoples' voices and the Labor Movement's message is resonating with voters across the country, and Oregonians from across the state are signing up to volunteer. Lets channel this enthusiasm into volunteering to reach out to voters and remind them to use their pro-worker voice at the ballot box!
