Today at 11:00 a.m. CDT, I'll be joining Richard Myers, PhD, and Neil Lamb, PhD, from the HudsonAlpha Institute of Biotechnology to share updates live on my Facebook page about the response to COVID-19 in Alabama and talk about the importance of rapidly expanding our testing capacity. 

Because of our efforts so far, Alabama is making good progress, but it's important for each of us to continue to socially distance and stay home as much as possible. We'll get through this if we can stay vigilant and follow the guidance of our public health experts and the data. Today, we'll talk about the latest on the situation in our state and some of the promising work being done at HudsonAlpha, right here in Alabama, to tackle this crisis.
