It's time to pass legislation to curb gun violence.

Here’s the reality about gun violence in the U.S.

Americans are 25 times more likely to be shot and killed with a gun than people in other developed countries.

Almost 40,000 Americans were killed by guns in 2017, the highest level in 40 years.

There is no longer any excuse for Washington to do nothing about this crisis, especially given the recent shootings in El Paso and Dayton.

Please sign this petition telling Congress and the president it’s time to pass legislation to curb gun violence.

There is no one right policy answer to this problem. But in the wake of El Paso and Dayton, it is obvious something has changed, and both President Trump and many in Congress are open to policy steps that previously may have seemed unthinkable given the fraught politics around guns.

They need to take these steps.

The one and only unacceptable outcome is for them to do nothing at all, as has happened all too often in the wake of previous mass shootings.

Congress, and Mr. President, it’s time to act. Please join No Labels in sending the message.
