As Labor Day approaches, we can look back at the beginning of this unique holiday, which honors the American workforce's dedication, hard work, and achievements. Established in June of 1894 as a federal holiday, Labor Day was created to pay tribute to the contributions of workers who have built and sustained our nation.

While Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, it's also a time to appreciate the balance between work and rest. Whether you plan to spend the weekend relaxing with family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, watching community celebrations, or simply taking a well-deserved break, we encourage you to celebrate safely.
